Xio Zi Defence

Xio Zi smiled and said, "Oh, let me guess. Aren't you all Bian Luohuan's men? I pity you guys. How can a university boy control all of you powerful men?"

The boss snapped, "Hey, don't talk too much, or else you're not going to see tomorrow."

Xio Zi replied, "Sure, you can kill me. But if you have even a little bit of a brain, think about it. Personally, I think you are much more powerful and handsome than him."

Hearing this, a member of the gang told their leader, "Boss, she's telling the truth. How can a university boy control us? It really is shameful, boss."

The boss paused, then said, "We are busy today, so we'll let you go." He then whispered to his men, "Yeah, right, let's go. We can't let ourselves be controlled by that stupid boy."

They all left, and Xio Zi laughed to herself because they were so easy to manipulate.

"Okay, bye! Hope you all make the right decision," she called out. She then started her bike and rode away.

The phone call

Later that day, the gang leader called Bian Luohuan and said, "I'm not working with you from now on."

Bian Luohuan replied, "What are you saying? Are you out of your mind, you idiot?"

The man raised his voice and snapped, "I'm not your slave, so don't raise your voice at me!"

Bian Luohuan calmed himself down and asked, "What happened today? Tell me."

The gang leader recounted the whole story. Bian Luohuan burst out laughing and said, "That girl, Xio Zi, made fools out of all of you."

Then, Bian Luohuan started manipulating him again, saying, "Yes, she is right. I joined hands with you because you are stronger than me, but I thought of you like my big brother. If you don't want to help me, you can go, but I wish you the best of luck for the future. Never lose."

Moved by his words, the boss practically cried and said, "I'm always with you, my bro. I'm sorry for everything."

Bian Luohuan smiled and said, "It's okay, but don't do this again next time." After hanging up the phone, Bian Luohuan smiled to himself and muttered, "She is interesting. Now, I want to meet her even more."

The Showdown

The next day, Jeo-on didn't show up for classes. After university, Xio Zi was heading out to meet Chu Junyao while chatting with Ying Ying. As she walked through the school gates, she noticed Jeo-on standing there with four guys, all dressed in black.

She smirked and kept walking, refusing to let it bother her. She hopped onto her bike and revved the engine-vroom, vroom, zz zee!

As soon as Xio Zi sped off, Jeo-on started his car and followed her. Xio Zi increased her speed. It looked like they were racing, but in the end, Jeo-on accelerated and overtook her, blocking her path.

Xio Zi got off her motorcycle and stood right in front of them. She took a piece of chewing gum from her pocket, threw it into the air, caught it in her mouth, and started chewing it slowly. Sitting back on her motorcycle, she looked at them and said, "Wait, let me call an ambulance for you guys first."

Then, in a bold, commanding voice, she yelled, "COME ON!"

Jeo-on snapped his fingers, and all his men rushed to fight Xio Zi. She ran toward them, kicked them right in their faces, and beat them all up in under two minutes.

The Spark

After wiping the floor with his men, she stepped over them and approached Jeo-on. Her heart was racing from the adrenaline, and her eyes were bright with triumph. She threw a swift, threatening punch right at his face.

Jeo-on didn't panic. He moved his head just in the nick of time, causing her fist to hit his car with a sharp thud.

Because he dodged, her arm was now right past his shoulder, effectively pinning him against his own car.

Jeo-on didn't back away. Instead, he leaned forward slightly, looking at her eye with a sudden, amused glint in his eyes. The distance between them vanished, and for a second, the tension in the air changed from a fight to something a lot more electric.

"Nice punch," Jeo-on murmured, a slow, teasing smile touching his lips. "But your hand is going to hurt tomorrow."

Xio Zi didn't pull back. She held his gaze, her smirk matching his as she leaned in just a fraction closer, refusing to let him intimidate her. "My hand will be fine," she replied, her voice smooth but fierce. "Just make sure you don't come near me again. And don't play these childish games with me."

Jeo-on smirked, clearly enjoying her fiery attitude, but he quickly hid it as he looked over at his defeated crew. He stepped away from her, cleared his throat, and scolded his men, "How can you all be that weak? You stupid losers! Let's go."

As they drove off, Xio Zi let out a sharp, frustrated sigh and aggressively gripped her handlebars. She was furious that he had delayed her and completely annoyed by his arrogant smile. Gritting her teeth, she kicked her bike into gear and sped away, completely done with his nonsense for the day.
